  • A daughter Agnes Neely was born in 1755.
  • A daughter Mary Neely was born January 11, 1756
  • A son, Thomas Neely III was born in 1757
  • A son, Moses Neely was born November 1, 1761
  • A son, Samuel Mills Neely was born in 1763
  • A son, James Carothers Neely was born in 1766
  • A daughter Nancy Neely was born in 1768.
  • A daughter Hannah Neely was born in 1770.
  • Thomas Neely II applied for a Royal Grant in the Carolina colonies about 1751 and was granted 600 acres of land on Steele Creek, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina in 1754. Thomas and Hannah would have traveled to Steele Creek between 1751 and 1754. Their first child was born in Pennsylvania in 1750 and the second child was born in North Carolina in 1755.

    Thomas was a hard-working farmer and was a founding member of the Steele Creek Presbyterian Church. Thomas and Hannah and many other members of the Neely family are buried in the Steel Creek Presbyterian Church cemetery.
