between 1751 and 1754. Their first child was born in Pennsylvania in 1750 and the second child was born in North Carolina in
Thomas was a hard-working farmer and was a founding member of the Steele Creek Presbyterian Church. Thomas and Hannah and
many other members of the Neely family are buried in the Steel Creek Presbyterian Church cemetery.
