John Thomas Alexander, Jr. was born February 9, 1862 in Paiclista, Sevier County, Arkansas.
John died February 6, 1931 in Lufkin, Angelina County, Texas.
He is buried at the Gann Cemetery in Pollock, Angelina County, Texas

He married Fannie Robertson.

John was living at home with his parents when the 1880 census was taken. Still at home were his brother Terry, age 23, and sisters Julia, age 20, and Mary, age 13. His brothers
Moses Jackson Alexander and George Samuel Alexander had already died.

John was a farmer. The 1920 census shows his place of residence is Sevier County, Arkansas. His estimated age at the time of the 1920 census was 62. With him at the time were
Fannie Alexander, age 45, Elton B Alexander, age 11, Gladys Alexander, age 5,
Love Alexander, age 3, Edna Alexander, age 2 months.

John Thomas Alexander, Jr. fathered a daughter who was born March 15, 1914 who was named Gladys Estelle Alexander. This is our direct ancestor
